Rather expected game in Cundinamarca where 7th ranked Patriotas (4-12) were crushed by fourth ranked Condores (8-8) 89-66. The game without a history. Condores led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Condores shot 26 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Patriotas only scored five points from the stripe. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Patriotas were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Luis Almanza (196-91) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Ryan McCoy (183-87, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Haylett Sports) accounted for 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Condores players scored in double figures. American swingman Robert Crawford (201-90, college: Cent.Arkansas) came up with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Jairo Pardo (-95) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Patriotas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Condores. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Sabios. Patriotas lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Piratas. Condores will again play against Patriotas (#7) in Boyaca in the next round. Patriotas will have a break next round.
