Very expected game when 12th ranked Maroochydore Clippers (2-6) were defeated on the road by seventh ranked Brisbane Spartans (5-5) 87-80 on Sunday. Brisbane Spartans outrebounded Maroochydore Clippers 48-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international center Tom Jervis (211-87, college: Troy) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and swingman Glenn Scott (194-85) chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field).
