Not a big story in a game in Greensborough where 10th ranked Diamond Valley Eagles (2-14) were defeated by fourth ranked Falcons (11-5) 69-57 on Sunday. Falcons made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Diamond Valley Eagles turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Renae Mokrzycki (183-94, college: Idaho) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Tegan Cunninghan helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. Falcons' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Kate Oliver (193-91, college: USC) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Kasey Burton (178-96) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Falcons moved-up to third place in League. Loser Diamond Valley Eagles dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
