Not a big story in a game in Hamilton Hill where 12th ranked Eagles (2-15) were defeated by eighth ranked Cougars (7-11) 70-63 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American forward Kersten Mitchell (185-90, college: Illinois) who led her team to a victory scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Taryn Priestly (-89) helped adding 16 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Canadian power forward Kaylee Kilpatrick (193-93, college: New Hampshire) with 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Haylee Desousa (-94) scored 5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Eagles' coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cougars moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Eagles keep the twelfth position with 15 games lost.
