Regular Season Round 15: Eastern M. - N.Adelaide R. 79-73

No shocking result in a game in Mt. Barker where first ranked Mavericks (11-2) won against 3rd placed Rockets (9-4) 79-73 on Sunday. Rockets were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Alex Wilson (174-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. Kedeisha Kartinyeri helped adding 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Jo Hill (182-73) with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 blocks and American point guard Norrisha Victrum (165-93, college: Marshall) scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Rockets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mavericks maintains first place in League with 11-2 record. Loser Rockets dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Mavericks will face Sabres (#6) in Pasadena in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rockets will play at home against Lions and hope to win that game.
