Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Miramar (#6) and Marne (#12). Miramar (5-3) won against visiting Marne (1-6) 79-65. They outrebounded Marne 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Miramar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Marne's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jeffrey Fahnbulleh (200-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and forward Martin Trelles (187-96) who added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Miramar players scored in double figures. Forward Andres Pineiro (187-89) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Joaquin Borallo scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Miramar moved-up to third place. Marne lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with six games lost. Miramar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Verdirrojo.
