Regular Season Round 18: Logan T. - Rockhampton 101-83

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Logan T.'s (5-6) home victory over 9th ranked Rockhampton Rockets (5-7) 101-83 on Friday. They outrebounded Rockhampton Rockets 49-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. Logan T. shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Rashad Hassan (203-89, college: Savannah St.) who recorded 28 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Chris Fowler (185-93, college: Cent.Michigan) added 18 points and 7 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Logan T. maintains eighth position in League with 5-6 record. Loser Rockhampton Rockets keep the ninth place with seven games lost. Logan T. will face Gladstone Port City Power (#13) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Rockhampton Rockets will play against Sunshine CR (#3) and hope to win that game.
