Nationals' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American guard Anita Brown (173, college: Akron) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import center Megan Kritscher (195-89, college: Sacramento St.) scored 10 points. Nationals moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Spectres keep the third position with eight games lost. Nationals will face league's second-placed Lady Braves in Bendigo in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Spectres will play on the road against Lady Bandits in Albury and hope to win that game.
