No shocking result in a game in Woodville where second ranked Tigers (11-3) won against 7th ranked Bearcats (4-10) 69-59 on Saturday. Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bearcats' 32. Tigers forced 22 Bearcats turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Alexandra Green who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 8 assists and 5 steals and forward Mollie McKendrick (183-93, college: Boston U.) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ashlea Vordermaier (-90) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ieva Nagy (177-91, college: Troy) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers maintains second position in League with 11-3 record having just three point less than leader Brisbane S. Loser Bearcats keep the seventh place with ten games lost. Tigers will face Eagles (#5) in Goodwood in the next round. Bearcats will play on the road against Lions in Gawler and hope to win that game.
