Regular Season Round 16: Sandringham S. - Albury LB 93-73

There was a small surprise in Cheltenham where eighth ranked Sabres (5-10) smashed 6th ranked Lady Bandits (2-11) 93-73 on Saturday. Sabres looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Italian guard Nicole Romeo (168-89, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American swingman Jasmine Gill (185-90, college: JMU, agency: Two Points) who added 10 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Toccara Ross (184-86, college: Iowa St., agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sabres moved-up to seventh place in League which they share with defeated Lady Bandits. Loser Lady Bandits dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Sabres will have a break next round.
