Strangely West Adelaide Bearcats outrebounded Noarlunga City Southern Tigers 39-27 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Mike Nwelue (196-93, college: Drury) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Anthony Drmic (198-92, college: Boise St.) chipped in 29 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest.
