The game with biggest result difference took place in Montana. Local Academia (13-7) outscored 8th ranked Patriotas (5-15) 102-70 on Saturday night. They outrebounded Patriotas 51-25 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Academia shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Patriotas' players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international point guard Simon Granados (182-93) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international power forward Divier Perez (201-89) helped adding 17 points and 13 rebounds. Four Academia players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Frisco Sandidge (198-87, college: Delaware St.) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import swingman Robert Crawford (201-90, college: Cent.Arkansas) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Academia. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-7 record having two points less than leader Fast Break. Patriotas at the other side stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
