Regular Season Round 19: Condores - Fast Break 60-85

Date: July 1, 2017
Leader Fast Break delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Condores (8-12) 85-60 in Cundinamarca. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American guard Henry Uhegwu (191-82, college: S.Utah) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Venezuelan power forward Luis Julio (201-80) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Fast Break players scored in double figures. International forward Luis Almanza (196-91) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Venezuelan forward Eduardo Torres (195-81) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Condores. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fast Break (17-1) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Newly promoted Fast Break maintains first place. Condores lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. Fast Break will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Condores will play again at home against the league's leader Fast Break (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.
