Regular Season Round 4: Anhui - Lhasa 123-110

Undefeated Lhasa (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of eighth ranked Anhui. Visitors were defeated by Anhui 123-110. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lhasa. The game was mostly controlled by Anhui. Lhasa was better in third quarter 30-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Chris Johnson (210-85, college: LSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 25 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and the other American import point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St.) who added 39 points (!!!) and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American Dominique Johnson (192-87, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Zhennan Zhang scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anhui maintains eighth position with 2-2 record, which they share with Chongqing. Lhasa at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with 6 other teams. Anhui will play against higher ranked Guizhou (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lhasa will play against Chongqing (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
