Very predictable result in Mill Park where first ranked Waverley Falcons (14-4) outscored 12th ranked Whittlesea City (1-15) 106-76 on Sunday. They outrebounded Whittlesea City 52-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Waverley Falcons looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Jason Reardon (189-83) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Chris Arkell (198-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Jonathan Maybank who recorded 21 points and 8 rebounds and Dominic Bruno added 23 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Waverley Falcons went down to second position (League) due to points difference.
