Regular Season Round 10: Miramar - Capitol 80-74

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Miramar (6-3) beat 10th ranked Capitol (3-6) in Montevideo 80-74 on Monday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Miramar outrebounded Capitol 45-25 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Jeffrey Fahnbulleh (200-85) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Matias Nicoletti (193-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists for the winners. Guard Juan Wenzel (190-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Federico Soto (194-97) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Capitol. Miramar moved-up to third place, which they share with Tabare. Loser Capitol keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Miramar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena .
