Everything went according to plan in Albury where third ranked Spectres (8-9) won against 7th ranked Lady Bandits (3-14) 65-59 on Friday. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was center Megan Kritscher (195-89, college: Sacramento St.) who scored 21 points. Guard Anita Brown (173, college: Akron) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and forward Toccara Ross (184-86, college: Iowa St., agency: LBM Management) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Spectres maintains third place in League with 8-9 record having seven points less than leader Knox R. Loser Lady Bandits keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Spectres will face league's second-placed Rangers in Dandenong in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
