Very predictable result when seventh ranked Logan T. (7-6) won against 12th ranked Rollers (3-9) in Gold Coast 98-81 on Friday. Logan T. forced 19 Rollers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a very good performance for Canadian forward Keanau Post (211-92, college: Missouri) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Lebanese swingman Thomas Ammar (199-87, college: Mars Hill) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Logan T. players scored in double figures. Swingman Dwayne Vale (193-85) answered with 30 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Devon Sullivan (201-86, college: S.Connecticut) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Rollers. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Logan T. maintains seventh place in League with 7-6 record. Loser Rollers dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Logan T. will face Toowoomba Mountaineers (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rollers will play against Brisbane Spartans and hope to win that game.
