Important game to mention about took place in Goodwood. Third ranked Rockets (12-4) saved a 3-point derby victory on the road edging 5th ranked Eagles (9-7) 75-72 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Jo Hill (182-73) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Center Tayla Corrigan (190-93, college: Idaho) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Rockets players scored in double figures. Forward Olivia Thompson (185-93) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds and Samantha Defrancesco added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Eagles' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rockets maintains third place in League with 12-4 record having 2 victories less than leader Knox R. Loser Eagles dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Rockets will face league's second-placed Tigers in Morphett Vale in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Eagles will play at home against Bearcats (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
