There was no surprise in San Felipe where 6th ranked Aleman (4-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Arturo Prat (6-5) 72-66 on Saturday. Arturo Prat made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game, while Aleman only scored nine points from the stripe. Arturo Prat forced 22 Aleman turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Paulo Andrade (174-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Boris Guerra (-87) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Marcelo Villagran (184-88) responded with 22 points and Sebastian Leefhelm (-99) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Arturo Prat maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Loser Aleman dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Brisas. Arturo Prat will meet higher ranked Puente Alto (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aleman will play against Stadio Italiano in Santiago and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
