Regular Season Round 19: Kilsyth C. - NW Tasmania 80-84

No shocking result in a game when third ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (10-9) beat on the road 6th ranked Kilsyth Cobras (8-12) 84-80 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American point guard Ahmad Starks (175-92, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four NW Tasmania Thunder players scored in double figures. Forward Chris Patton (208-91, college: Cal-Riverside) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and the former international guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kilsyth Cobras. Kilsyth Cobras' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. NW Tasmania Thunder maintains third place in League with 10-9 record behind leader Mackay M. Loser Kilsyth Cobras keep the sixth position with 12 games lost. NW Tasmania Thunder will face league's second-placed Chargers in Hobart in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kilsyth Cobras will play at home against Frankston Blues (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
