Spiders forced 23 Hills Hornets turnovers. Strangely Hills Hornets outrebounded Spiders 57-31 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Daniel Moser who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Joshua Chapman contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Croatian power forward Goran Veg (205) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Greek swingman Emils Duselis (192) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Hills Hornets. Four Hills Hornets players scored in double figures. Spiders maintains fourth place in League with 11-7 record. Loser Hills Hornets dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Spiders will have a break next round. Hills Hornets will play against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#6) in Narrabeen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
