Very predictable result when first ranked North Adelaide Rockets (13-3) won against 7th ranked South Adelaide Panthers (7-9) in Greenacres 120-108 on Sunday. North Adelaide Rockets dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to South Adelaide Panthers' 54. North Adelaide Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. South Adelaide Panthers were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American forward Alexander Starling (198-89, college: Beth.-Cookman) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Darcy Aistrope (191) contributed with 27 points for the winners. American guard Eian Davis (185-90, college: Albertus Magnus) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 assists (on 15-of-17 shooting from the field) and forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: Saginaw Valley) added 31 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for South Adelaide Panthers. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. South Adelaide Panthers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. North Adelaide Rockets maintains first place in League with 13-3 record. Loser South Adelaide Panthers keep the seventh position with nine games lost. North Adelaide Rockets will face league's second-placed Noarlunga City Southern Tigers in Morphett Vale in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. South Adelaide Panthers will play at home against Eastern Mavericks (#10) and hope to win that game.
