Regular Season Round 19: Logan T. - Gladstone P. 92-73

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Logan T. (7-6) crushed 10th ranked Gladstone Port City Power (3-7) in Loganholme 92-73 on Sunday. Logan T. had a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Canadian forward Keanau Post (211-92, college: Missouri) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Naturalized Lebanese swingman Thomas Ammar (199-87, college: Mars Hill) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Logan T.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Ray Willis (198-89, college: N.C.Central, agency: HMS) answered with 20 points and 5 assists and the other American import forward Willie Shackleford (198-85, college: Martin Methodist) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Gladstone Port City Power. Five Logan T. and four Gladstone Port City Power players scored in double figures. Logan T. maintains seventh place in League with 7-6 record. Loser Gladstone Port City Power keeps the tenth position with seven games lost. Logan T. will face Toowoomba Mountaineers (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gladstone Port City Power will play against Rockhampton Rockets (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
