Regular Season Round 20: Albury W.B. - Ballarat M. 104-93

There was a minor upset in Albury where second-ranked Ballarat Miners (13-7) were defeated by fifth ranked Bandits (9-11) 104-93 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 36-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of James Terrell who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and American forward T.J. Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who added 21 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Guard Peter Hooley (193-92, college: Albany) responded with 39 points (!!!) and 4 steals and New Zealand forward Leon Henry (200-85, college: S.Idaho JC) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Bandits and four Ballarat Miners players scored in double figures. Bandits maintains fifth position in League with 9-11 record. Loser Ballarat Miners keep the second place with seven games lost. Bandits will face league's leader Spectres in East Burwood in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ballarat Miners will play on the road against Bendigo Braves and hope to win that game.
