The game with biggest result difference took place in Montevideo. Local Capitol (3-7) was outscored by second ranked Atenas (8-2) 107-76 on Friday night. Atenas made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Atenas had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Mateo Pose (190-95) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Atenas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Joe Efese (198, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and forward Hector Silva (192-90) added 23 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atenas maintains second position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Sayago. Loser Capitol keeps the tenth place with seven games lost. Atenas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Miramar.
