The game in Santiago supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Aleman (4-8) played at the court of seventh ranked Stadio Italiano (5-7). Stadio Italiano smashed Aleman 72-51 on Saturday. Stadio Italiano forced 23 Aleman turnovers. The winners were led by N Alba who scored that evening 21 points and 8 rebounds and Piero Simonetti (-93) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Stadio Italiano players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by forward Rodolfo Caceres (188-81) did not help to save the game for Aleman. The former international forward Patrick Montecinos (202-94) added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Stadio Italiano moved-up to fifth place. Aleman lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Brisas.
