Regular Season Round 16: Our Saviour - Sharing Youth 45-42

A very interesting game took place in Kampala. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Sharing Youth (2-5) to ninth ranked Our Saviour (3-5) 45-42 in the fight for the eighth place. The winners were led by forward Wilberforce Pirwoth (-95) who scored that evening 16 points and forward Steven Mwesigye supported him with 6 points. Our Saviour's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by forward Emmanuel Okumu (-97) did not help to save the game for Sharing Youth. Guard Nasser Jakisa (-90) added 9 points for lost side. Our Saviour moved-up to eighth place. Sharing Youth at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Our Saviour's next round opponent will be higher ranked Ndejje (#6) and it may be quite challenging game.
