No shocking result in a game when second ranked Brisbane Capitals (10-2) won against on the road 4th ranked Sunshine CR (8-4) 79-72 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 31-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Sunshine CR outrebounded Brisbane Capitals 47-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Aaron Anderson (178, college: N.Dakota) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Greek guard Anthony Kopcikas (189-92) who added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Brisbane Capitals players scored in double figures. Guard Isaih Tueta (187-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized New Zealand guard Zeke Meehl (181-88) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Brisbane Capitals maintains second position in League with 10-2 record having 2 victories less than leader Mackay M. Loser Sunshine CR keeps the fourth place with four games lost.
