Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Montevideo: Union Atletica (#7) and Marne (#13). Union Atletica (5-6) won against visiting Marne (2-8) 81-70. Union Atletica forced 19 Marne turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Gaston Semiglia (192-91) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Point guard Ignacio Cambon (181-92) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center Tyronne McNeal (211-87, college: Miami Dade CC) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Andres Pineiro (187-89) added 21 points and 4 steals in the effort for Marne.
