Very important is a road loss of third ranked Tabare (7-5) against eleventh ranked Auriblanco (4-8) on Monday night. Visiting Tabare was crushed by Auriblanco in Montevideo 98-78. Auriblanco made 37-of-47 charity shots (78.7 percent) during the game, while Tabare only scored seventeen points from the stripe. Auriblanco forced 21 Tabare turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Tabare was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Rodrigo Goncalvez stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Joaquin Jones (202-97) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side forward Agustin Cabillon (196-95) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Gonzalo Rivas (179-95) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Five Auriblanco and four Tabare players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Auriblanco moved-up to ninth place. Tabare at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost.
