The game in Boyaca supposed to be also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Caciques (9-14) played at the court of 8th ranked Patriotas (5-20). Caciques smashed Patriotas 91-62. Caciques dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Patriotas' 28. They outrebounded Patriotas 55-39 including 18 on the offensive glass. American guard Brandon Provost (190-90, college: UTRGV) nailed 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import swingman Malik Story (196-90, college: Nevada, agency: Two Points) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Caciques players scored in double figures. American forward Frisco Sandidge (198-87, college: Delaware St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and Jairo Pardo (-95) added 17 points respectively for Patriotas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Caciques moved-up to fifth place. Patriotas lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost. Caciques will have a break next round. Patriotas will play again at home against Caciques (#5) and hope to win that game.
