No shocking result in a game when second ranked UCU Canons (7-3) beat at home bottom-ranked Nkumba M. (2-7) 72-57. They outrebounded Nkumba M. 44-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Steven Wundi (-93) who scored 24 points. Forward Brian Namake (-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four UCU Canons players scored in double figures. Sydney Chasimba produced 20 points and forward Wilson Otweyo (-89) added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. UCU Canons have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-3 record having just six point less than leader KIU Titans. Newly promoted Nkumba M. dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
