Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo: Stockolmo (#8) and Capitol (#10). Capitol was defeated at home 76-80 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. American forward Rashaun Stimage (202, college: De Paul) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Juan Viana (189-97) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American forward Joe Efese (198, college: Cent.Conn.St.) replied with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Hector Silva (192-90) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Capitol. Stockolmo (6-6) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 25 de Agosto. Capitol lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost.
