Date: July 22, 2017
No shocking result in a game in Geelong where ninth ranked Magic (6-14) smashed 11th ranked Stingrays (4-16) 92-70 on Saturday. Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Joshua Morrison (198-91, college: NC-Wesleyan) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Kirk Smith (178) chipped in 29 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Stingrays will play at home against McKinnon C. (#6) and hope to win that game.
