Important game to mention about took place in . Seventh ranked Sharks (9-10) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Boomers (13-6) 76-75 on Saturday evening. It was a very good performance for American point guard Brittany Carter (183-93, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Innika Hodgson contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Sharks' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Dutch guard Natalie Van-Den-Adel (185-90, college: Colorado St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Lauren Pearce (181-83) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her seven free throws) in the effort for Boomers. Sharks maintains seventh place in League with 9-10 record. Loser Boomers keep the fourth position with six games lost. Sharks will face Cougars (#9) in McKinnon in the next round. Boomers will play at home against the league's leader Knox Raiders (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
