The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Portviejo (1-1) in Guayaquil on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Iccan (2-0) 87-75. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 51-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game.
