Very predictable result in Gawler where third ranked Norwood Flames (12-6) outscored 9th ranked Central District Lions (3-15) 97-77 on Saturday. Norwood Flames shot 33 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Central District Lions only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Central District Lions 58-44 including a 42-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Norwood Flames looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Central District Lions were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Matthew Lycett (194-90) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.
