We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Casey C. (13-7) defeated on the road 4th placed Eltham Wildcats (15-6) 87-80 on Saturday. Casey C. dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Eltham Wildcats' 26. The best player for the winners was American forward Raheem Lemons (196-93, college: Central State) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Michael McInnes (189-90) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Five Casey C. players scored in double figures.
