Regular Season Round 13: Aleman - Puente Alto 62-65

Seventh-ranked Aleman (4-9) gave a tough game to third ranked Puente Alto (9-4) in Puerto Varas. The visitors from Puente Alto managed to secure only three-point victory 65-62. However their fans expected much easier game. Puente Alto forced 21 Aleman turnovers. Guard Sebastian Silva (187-91) nailed 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Antonio Pinedo (195-94) accounted for 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Puente Alto players scored in double figures. Francisco Garrido (-88) came up with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Marcelo Villagran (184-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Aleman in the defeat. Aleman's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Puente Alto maintains third place with 9-4 record having just two points less than leader Liceo Curico. Aleman lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. Puente Alto will play against Brisas (#5) in Santiago in the next round.
