A very interesting game took place in Montevideo. It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked 25 de Agosto (6-8) to eleventh ranked Capitol (5-8) 67-66 on Tuesday evening. 25 de Agosto was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 22-10 charge of Capitol, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Guard Juan Andres Galleto (181-96) fired 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American forward Joe Efese (198, college: Cent.Conn.St.) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Rodrigo Cardozo (191-92) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Javier Alvarez (193-83) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Four 25 de Agosto players scored in double figures. Capitol moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Verdirrojo. 25 de Agosto lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Capitol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Auriblanco.
