Regular Season Round 15: Jiangsu L. - Lhasa 93-98

No shocking result in a game in He Fei where eighth ranked Lhasa (8-7) defeated 13th ranked Jiangsu L. (1-14) 98-93 on Friday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 33-18. But Jiangsu L. won second period 26-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for center DangJian Han (208-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. Zhennan Zhang helped adding 10 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Lhasa's coach Feng Chen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American-Palestinian forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Peng Wang (183-94) scored 25 points. Four Lhasa and five Jiangsu L. players scored in double figures. Lhasa maintains eighth place with 8-7 record. Jiangsu L. lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. Lhasa will meet at home bottom-ranked Dongbu (#14) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Jiangsu L. will play against Guizhou and hope to win that game.
