Very expected game in Cheltenham where 8th ranked Sabres (5-16) were defeated by first ranked Geelong Supercats (17-4) 83-70 on Saturday. Geelong Supercats forced 25 Sabres turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Chantel-Anais Horvat (182-98) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds and Elisabeth Kett who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Geelong Supercats players scored in double figures. Center Carly Chatfield (185-93) responded with 9 points and 14 rebounds and naturalized Italian guard Nicole Romeo (168-89, college: Washington) scored 12 points and 5 assists.
