The game in Santiago was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Aleman (5-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Sergio Ceppi (1-13). Aleman defeated Sergio Ceppi 58-42 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Aleman. Sergio Ceppi managed to win third quarter 14-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sergio Ceppi to just 7 points in first quarter. Aleman forced 34 Sergio Ceppi turnovers. Forward Marko Castro (192-88) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Francisco Garrido (-88) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Guard Angelo Olivares (185-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Jose Parra (-91) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds.
