Regular Season Round 6: Juvenil - Triple E-Uda 88-57

Bottom-ranked Triple E-Uda (0-6) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to seventh ranked Juvenil (2-3) 44-21 on Friday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Juvenil. Triple E-Uda managed to win fourth quarter 9-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Juvenil well out of reach of Triple E-Uda shooting 94.1 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Juvenil especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 90.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Brandon Thompson (193-92, college: Huston-Tillotson) who scored 13 points. Venezuelan Nelson Palacios (192-92) chipped in 8 points. Juvenil's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Venezuelan Yolvier Romero (-95) who recorded 10 points and Carlos Ramon (-85) added 8 points respectively. Juvenil moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Barcelona. Newly promoted Triple E-Uda still closes the standings with six games lost. Juvenil will meet at home higher ranked Piratas (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Triple E-Uda will play against Portviejo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
