Regular Season Round 22: Lhasa - Luoyang 82-92

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Luoyang (15-7) won against on the road 9th ranked Lhasa (10-12) 92-82. The game was mostly controlled by Luoyang. Lhasa was better in fourth quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Luoyang forced 21 Lhasa turnovers. Nigerian-British center Olumide Oyedeji (210-81) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Luoyang players scored in double figures. American center Jonathan Kreft (213-86, college: Florida St.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and forward Yuxiang Gao (195-93) added 20 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Luoyang have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-7 record, which they share with Anhui. Lhasa at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. Luoyang's next round opponent will be higher ranked Guizhou (#3) on the road and it may be the game of the week. Lhasa will play against Hunan (#6) in Changsha and hope to win that game.
