Piratas did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barcelona. Piratas players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for Puerto Rican-Venezuelan swingman Rafael Perez (193-82, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Willie Clayton (203-92, college: Georgia St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Piratas players scored in double figures. The former international guard Raul Cardenas (190-82, college: Faulkner) answered with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Keith Bowman (201-91, college: Menlo, agency: SDJ Sports) added 17 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Barcelona. Piratas moved-up to fourth place. Barcelona at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Piratas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Leones in Riobamba and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Barcelona will play at home against Triple E-Uda and hope to win that game.
