Regular Season Round 25: Luoyang - Jiangsu L. 102-76

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Luoyang (17-8) crushed at home 13th ranked Jiangsu L. (2-23) 102-76. It looked good early as Jiangsu L. took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Luoyang had a 24-14 second period charge getting the lead and Jiangsu L. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-102. They outrebounded Jiangsu L. 52-32 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Luoyang players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Jiangsu L.'s players. South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 22 rebounds for the winners. Forward Wenhan Qiao (195-91) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Five Luoyang players scored in double figures. Luoyang's coach Nan Huo felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Palestinian forward Michael Nunnally (203-86, college: Pacific) produced 28 points and 9 rebounds and forward MingYang Gao (196-88) added 25 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Luoyang moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Jiangsu L. lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 23 games lost. Luoyang's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Dongbu (#14) in Nanjin which should be another easy win for them. Jiangsu L. will play at home against Hunan and hope to win that game.
