The game in Portviejo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Barcelona (7-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Portoviejo (4-7). Barcelona smashed Portoviejo 88-53. The game was mostly controlled by Barcelona. Portoviejo was better in fourth quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Portoviejo's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Barcelona have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-4 record having just three points less than leader Iccan. Portoviejo lost fifth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the seventh place with seven games lost.
