Regular Season Round 12: Juvenil - Iccan 68-75

National League top team - Iccan (9-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Juvenil (6-6) in Vinces 75-68. Iccan well out of reach of Juvenil shooting 73.8 percent from the field. The winners were led by Colombian-Venezuelan swingman Cesar Silva (190-81) who scored that evening 21 points and Venezuelan forward Juan Herrera (197-81) supported him with 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Iccan players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 4 assists by Venezuelan Nelson Palacios (192-92) did not help to save the game for Juvenil. Venezuelan forward Lenin Lopez (198-91) added 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Iccan have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-3 record. Juvenil at the other side dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Importadora. Iccan will play against league's second-placed Piratas in Ibarra in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Juvenil will play on the road against Triple E-Uda in Gualaceo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
